29 July 2011 please guide me about FORM 16 AND 16 A. what are there purpose? when they issue... acctually i m fully illitrate about these forms?

29 July 2011 Form 16 & 16a both are TDS certificate issued by the TDS deducting person to whom the TDS deducted.

Form 16 issued by the salary cases, employer will issue to employee for TDS deduction from employee`s salary

Form16a issued for all TDS deduction other than salary like contractor, professional, Interest, Rent like that persons
