Assessee is a senior Citizen. He deposited certain amount in Senior citizen Saving Scheme,2004. He is eligible to file form 15H.But the assessee died before maturity of the deposit. Is the nominee eligible to file form 15G/15H at the time of payment of the amount lying in the said account of the deceased to the nominee.

Yes Nominee is eligible to submit form 15G.
When the assessee dies before maturity the Deposit gets transferred in the name of the nominee. So nominee is eligible to submit Form 15G. Further this is my understanding and i have not faced such situation in practical life as yet.
