23 May 2016 Sir,

My Articleship ended on 15th May, 2016. I was told to that since I have taken extra leaves I need to extend my articleship. But as per my calculation I shouldn't be getting extension. Is there any way out? What is the procedure for Extension and what is Form 108 & Form 107? Please Guide.

23 May 2016 first send form 108, duly filled and duly signed. ICAI will in due course intimate you excess if any.

23 May 2016 My principal (CA) is not ready to sign it unless extension period is served? Can I submit it without his signature? or is there any other way?

23 May 2016 But that is NOT the procedure. Take the help of a nearby branch or chapter of ICAI. The fuly filled and duly signed Form 108 is to be submitted. Then ICAI intimates the excess period, if any.
Then you serve the excess period.

23 May 2016 the excess leave period is to be served as supplementary articleship and the same is documented with form 107
