16 September 2017 can i file ay 16-17 but i am file ay 15-16? It is possible to file ay 16-17 without filling ay 15-16?

16 September 2017 For AY 2016-17, you have time to file before 31-03-2018.

You can file ITR for AY 2016-17 without filing ITR for AY 2015-16. Pls note that if you have tax liability during the PY 2014-2015(AY 2015-16) you can be penalized.

16 September 2017 Yes. You can file AY 16-17.... Also you have any tax liability or any TDS in AY 2015-16. Then you can get notice from ITD....

17 September 2017 Yes you can file return for A.Y. 2106-17 without filing return for A.Y.2015-16
