06 February 2014 i want to know that whether ceilling fan capitalised ?? my client booked it as fixed assets ??

i think it should not be capitalised

plz clear my doubt

06 February 2014 well if you look at each fan the cost would appear small. However, given that multiple fans are installed in an office, it is advisable to go for substance over form and capitalize..
