I have purchased 5 fans for Rs.2300/-each for office on same date.Do I have to create different ledgers for fan's under fixed assets or a single ledger?
Also show how I make the entry?

Fixed Assests costing less than Rs. 5000 can be directly charged to P & L a/c.

how can I pass as office maintenance as the cost is more than 5000/-.It is an asset according to you.Now you are saying it will come under office maintenanace.HOW?
