03 October 2015 Sir How many days would it take for the ICAI to complete registration process for CA FINAL ? How many days will I get books for May 2016 exams? Pls reply

03 October 2015 15 days should be more than sufficient. When did you lodge your papers?

04 October 2015 when I contacted icai branch they said materials are not yet released for May 2016 exam will there be problem if I get nov 2015 books? any major changes

05 October 2015 you have 8 subjects, I suppose.

Barring few subjects like DT and IDT, other things remain constant.

So no tension for almost 75% of your fear.

For 25% i.e. dt and idt....out of that only FEW provisions get changed.....say 10 to 20%.... Applying Baye's theorm of conditional probability, it becomes 25 X 10 and/or 25 X 20... comes to 2.5% to 5%

Now you have to decide for yourself, are you going to wait till the may 2016 books get printed or start studies with NOV 2015 books.

Strike the pay off balance between these 2 and take the call as per your affordability
