12 June 2009 do a senior citizen need to fill nad file ITR1 (sources are pension and interest) if his limit of income is below 225000.
or do he hv to file nill return.
can he sit without filling it as his limit is below 225000.

12 June 2009 If the gross total income does not cross Rs. 225,000/- then it is not necessary to file return. But to keep continuity in return filing he may file nil return.
