Suppose the only income of a person is 'bank interest'. Will he have to fill in ITR 1 or ITR 2.

My understaning is ITR 2 is the appropriate form.

[For Individuals having Income from Salary/ Pension/ family pension and Interest]
Does the Interest mentioned here include bank interest.

Yes. U can file ITR 1. it is very simple.

but from A/Y 10-11, form will be changed and new form is yet to come
