24 February 2012 An assessee want to file 3 years from current date. Is it possible? If not How many years he can file now and when he can file other returns. Please give full details on this? Is there any penalty applicable please give reply with full details

24 February 2012 you can file Income tax return up to last 2 assessment years

Penalty for non filing of return is Rs.5000 per assessment year

24 February 2012 Thank you for your reply and please give on or before date of filing for the Financial years 2009-10 and 2010-11 (Assessment Year 2010-11 and 2011-12)
