Is training expenses paid to external professionals and agencies to impart technical and personality development training to employees - when conducted OUTSIDE the company's premises - LIABLE UNDER FBT? IF SO GIVE DETAILS OF RELEVANT SECTION AND RATE APLLICABLE

An expenditure on conferencce other than fees for participation by the employees in any conference, is liable to fbt on 20%
of the value of such expenditure, vide clause (C)of sec 115WB(2)

yes on the basis
if it is conducted by the outside agency where the company employees have participated by paying applicable fees then it is not covered under fbt
