How to rectify wrongly written father's name in ITR for AY 2014-15. Its belated return so revision can't be made.

This is a genuine mistake so it can be rectified by revising the belated return.

As i Know Belated return can not be revised...please provide me detail procedure for revision of such return

First of all, practically, there is no need to revise the return for rectifying father's
name only as the name of father does not mislead the IT department in tax-collection process.

The procedure for filing a revised return: In your original data you have to rectify father's name. By providing the Original ITR's acknowledgement No, and by selecting the option of revised return U/s 139(5), a return can be revised.

Sir Original return is not filled on due date.. how do i rectify my belated return

You can not submit revised return u/s 139(5) since it was a belated return u/s 139(4). Please check ITRV and see if the fathers name has been taken from PAN database or it is the wrong name which was erroneously mentioned in the return. If there is wrong name you need to wait for the return to be processed and wait for communication from CPC.

There is no need of rectifying Fahers's name as entire tax procedure is based on PAN and father's name is just a formality

You can conveince him simply by showing the PAN no as return filed on that basis yaar...!!!
