do I need to do extended period of my articlrship training wid my previous principal?
or the same can be served with the new principal??

no it is not compulsory...you can serve under some new principal too..

you just need to sing form 109 with the old principal with actual number of leave taken reflecting in it. then you can submit the form 109 to icai. subsequently sign form 102 and 103 with the new principal and submit the same to ICAI. no approval is required as such.

1. yes principals sometime dont sign the form. thats a pickle that no one is able to solve!!!
2. period may extend...it does happen for many reasons such as extra leave taken during the intervening period etc...

well there is one..
first of 109 is not to be signed here...108 is to be signed.
please refer regulation 56(1) and Form 119. Where the CA doesnt sign the form you can sign form 119 on your own and submit a copy of the same to the CA and a copy to ICAI. if the CA doesnt issue Form 108, it would be assumed that 108 has been issued on the basis of information provided in form 119.
