Extension of articleship period

my exam is due on Nov 10 but my leaves are around 10 months and articleship is to complete on 30.9.2010. in this case i will not complete training of 42 months. So am i eligible to appear in Nov 2010 or will it get postponed? or my training get extended? and should i complete my extended period from same principal?

6 months leave is allowed as per ICAI rules.
Since u have taken excess leave ur articleship will get extended and ur attempt will also get postponed.
Extended period also must be served with the same principal.
