Installation Expenses like installation of switch, earthing etc will be Debited to P & L A/c or will be add to cost of Genset and capitalized????????

this must be exp to pnl as it does not increase the life of asset.
05 March 2015
All expenses incidental to bringing the new asset in usable condition should be capitalized along with the Cost of asset.
