Dear All,
Please reply my belowmetioned query at the earliest.
Our client is having a manufacturing unit of Paint. His turnover is Rs. 142.00 Lacs. He want to avail the SSI Exemption as per Excise Law which is upto Rs. 150.00 Lacs. The declaration required to file if turnover exceed Rs. 90.00 Lacs. But he has failed to filed such declaration. What are the consequences of non filling of such declaration.

Normally no penal action is taken for such technical violation as 99% of the SSIs are not aware of the same.
