Can a Manufacturing Unit maintain its Excise Records like Daily Stock A/c, RG 23 A, 23C, PLA, etc in Excel Sheet in computer or some packaged software is only permitted?
Pls reply with some supporting/confirmation.

You can also maintain in Excel Sheet. There is no restriction in this regard.

After commencement of the Information Technology Act, the documents/records includes books/records maintained in electronic mode. Pls refer the Information Technology Act, 2002
