23 October 2010 i want to know that my father going to be start a business so there is a requriment of Excise No. because in his business there is a product which prepared with a raw material after boiling in water so there is requirment of excise No. and this product is used in textile

24 October 2010 If the product is an excisable goods [ most manufactured goods are] which is subjected ot the duty of excise [ not exempted] then the registration may have tobe taken on reaching near to 150 lakhs of value of clearacnes. Not also requires declaration on reaching 90 laksh.
