It is necessary to pay excise on transport if we are recover the same amount of above charges from customer. if it is not applicable pl give me the rule no or notification

Please note that there is no liablity to pay excise on transport however service tax is applicable on the same
you are liable to pay service tax on freight although you are recover the same from your customer
because Service Tax is Payable by persone who will paid the freight i.e. consignor/ consignee/ transporter
