excise duty on manufacturing of Plastic water bottles

22 March 2010 I am Purchasing Plastics preforms from market and send it for jobwork to produce plastic bottles and also they provides bottle with water.

They people charging excise on the Manufacturing of Bottles.I also paid excise on plastic preforms.
I have not excise registration numer.
I want to know that.
1>. Whether excise is applicable on that from 01/04/2010 ?
2>. whethere i need to registration with ecentral excise or not ?
3>. whethere i can transfer excise paid on purchase of plastic preforms to jobworker who charges excise on manufacturing of plastic bottles?

22 March 2010 Please buy the preforms and consign ot the manufacturer to enable him to avail the credit. Alterantive is to register a dealer and issue invoice each time to the manufacturte passing on the duty paid.
