What is Excise Duty.On what basis Excise duty is leived.Can we claim Excise Duty.

Excise duty is an Indirect tax, levied on Manufacturing and production of goods, excise duty calculated based on assesable value under excise act, we can claim input excise duty paid on input materials used duting manufacture and production
