Please give an idea how much time it will take to prepare effectively for final gr2 as I am starting after a long gap and without studies for a long time

It will depend on you that what is your preparation skill. if you made proper time management that 3 months will be enough for final group exam.
It also depend on your book selection for study.

1)See you should assess and plan your study plan taking into consideration ur strengths and weakness in subject knowledge
2)there is no genaralised rule for time required to complete course..it will differ from person to person.
