eway Bill starting dates ?

Was suppose to start from 1st October. but still no news and button/link on gst portal. It looks it will be delayed

01 October but no facility started on GST portal

Funny fact is that yesterday gave a call to GST helpline yo enquire about Eway bill. They also confirmed tha Eway bill has started but don't know where to download from. Who will be responsible if material is stopped by any officer for want of Eway bill.

Today my one client call me in morning 7 that his vehicle is stopped & they ask for Form402 of Gujarat

Also I faced the problem on 28th. We want sell goods to Karnataka but transporter can't accept without E-Way Bill... But, it's not yet started in TN... We are waiting for to 1st October. Now, no way...
After helping from Customer end they create E-Way Bill then sent it...
Now the situation GST is difficult to all... Very bad Situation...

Old Eway bill/road permits for state wise are still operational in WestBengal, Uttar pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka, may be telngana as well. You have to still follow old rules for generation of road permit while dispatching goods.
