Hello Experts,
Kindly guide me about the following topic.
Is it mandatory to generate EVC for e filing of returns? If it is not then how will the ITR be filed for processing without
E-Verification?
Further, what is the procedure for linking PAN with Adhar card? Is there any other mode to generate EVC through E-Filing Website? If yes, then how?

No it is not mandatory. Further EVC can be generated only in cases where net income is below Rs. 5 lacs and there is no refunds.
A return filer may e-verify his return using EVC or aadhar based OTP or by manually sending ITR-V to Bangalore.
To link PAN with aadhar, just login to your e-filing account where a dialogue box will automatically open asking to link PAN with aadhar just enter your Aadhar number in the box provided and if your aadhar details match with PAN it will be linked.
