09 August 2014 Is doing ERP/SAP courses helpful for ca/ icwa freshers before joining any job in industry? (From local technical institutes)Please guide if anyone has practical knowledge about it...i heard that doing these courses is a wastage of time and money... Is it true???

10 August 2014 Yes having knowledge of ERP/SAP is always helpful as in most big organizations these softwares are used. It is always better to acquire the knowledge in ERP/SAP while working in company because you get to learn with work on hand.

Doing courses are very costly. Most renowned is SAP from Siemens but will be very expensive.

My advice is to enhance your knowledge in your work area as that is the key to selection in good organization. After joining you can always learn ERP/SAP in a better way.
