Rs 20000/- after deducting 2% i.e, Rs 20000/- is 98% of the Gross Amount. Therefore Gross Amount = 20000/98*100=20408.
Now you can check. 2% of Rs 20408 = 408 and therefore net amount is Rs 20000/-
