Wanted to know about EPF and ESI. Who will liable for EPF and ESI and criteria for the same.

22 April 2014 at present if you have employee more than 10 employee then you have to registration under ESIC act and if employee more thatn 20 then you have to register under PF act.

under esi if you pay total salary to employee upto Rs.15000/- then you have to deducted @ 1.75% of employee and if your employee basis salary up to 6500/- then you have to deducted PF @ 12% of basic salary.
