Hello, I have been employed in industries for over 10 years and now starting my own practice. Whether I can be deemed to have been in continuous practice for three years under clause 10 A (4) (iv) of manual for members?

A member who sets up practice, with practice as his main occupation, after having been in employment for a minimum period of 6 years in one or more financial, commercial industrial undertakings (approved under Regulation 51 and 72) shall be deemed to have been in continuous practice for 3 years for this purpose.
Please check with ICAI if your industry is covered as above.
You can write a letter to the decentralised office requesting to give opinion on your case. In some cases, ICAI does give permission to treat your period in industry equivalent to 3 years of practice.
