I have claimed Entertainment tax exemption from the government - But i am still collecting Entertainment tax from the customers and at crediting the same to income account . Is this practice right.

You just claimed not got any confirmation from govt. So u need to pay such entertainment tax to govt so it is your liablity not income & once u get exemption confirmation stop collecting tax otherwise it is consided as wilful offence liable for penalty
