my cousin is an employee in Samsung. he got discount on all samsung product. I told him dat he has to pay tax on discount he availed. he said dat he is not paying any tax. please tel me whether he is liable to pay tax on discount or not....or is there any alternate possible dat co. is paying tax on employees behalf.....

well you need to check his monthly tax deduction to verify whether or not the employer is including discounts in perquisites or not.
