Eligiblility of claiming deduction of 80 c

Mr X and Mrs X has 2 son and 1 daughter. Elder son running a business and younger son and daughter are pursuing graduation.
Mr X paid lic premium of his family and claimed in his ITR. Mr X passed away.
Now elder son the only earning member in the family paid all lic premium and college fees which includes tution fees also.
Can elder son the only earning member in the family claimed the premium of lic of mother , younger brother and tution fees of sister under sec 80c in his ITR..

As per section 80c an individual can claim deduction of LIC premium paid in respect of his own, his wife/husband or his children. So accordingly no deduction available for LIc paid in the name of mother and younger brother. similarly deduction for tuition fees paid for sister can also not be claimed u/s 80C as it is available only for children of the individual.
