Eligibility Letter under section 224(1B)

Please let me know that is it also mandatory for the Private Companies to take the Eligibilty Letter u/s 224(1B) from the auditor before appointing them as Statutory Auditors.

Sec224(1B) is not applicable to Pvt Co's Hence you have to provide letter only under Section 226
