15 February 2014 Hi,

I have registered for CA IPCC on May 2010.
Am I eligible for May 2014 CA IPCC exam...?

Please advise.

15 February 2014 well you should be given that you have not crossed more than 4 years since registration. please note that as on 1 May 2014, you should be holding a valid registration.

I have registered on 10 May 2010.so, am I eligible for it, because due to election the exams were postpone from 27th May to 8th june, Otherwise it will be 2nd may.

16 February 2014 This is excerpt from ICAI guidance note on CA final exam registration

"( iii) As decided by the Council, the Registration to the Final Course is valid for a period of five years and the student is required to revalidate the same from the concerned Regional Office on expiry of the said period. Further in order to be eligible for the Examinations, the student must be having a valid Registration number on the date of application to the Examination.Accordingly, please ensure that your registration to Final Course is valid as on date of filling Examination application form. Please visit http://icai.org/new_post.html?post_id=9260 for details."

thus if u have a valid registration on the date of filing the exam form, it should be ok. To be on safe side, also apply for revalidation. As on today, you are very much eligible and kindly apply fast.
