Eligibility for ipcc nov 2013

26 December 2012 Hi Sir,
I have sent registration form of IPCC under direct entry system three weeks back and waiting for letter.. and I want to enroll for IPCC nov 2013 but as per rule I should complete 9 months Articleship(Including ITT).. for that first I should complete my ITT.. but admissions are full in bangalore branches.. I may get March-April batch.. after completing ITT then I can go for Articleship... I may not complete 9 months of my Articleship... in this case what should I do please suggest me... and is it possible to join ITT without registration letter from ICAI as i have CPT registration letter... will my rg no change??? please revert me...

27 December 2012 To Write IPCC exams completions of 9 moths study period priror to write exams is required(i.e at least 9 months before to exams has to register) but not required completion of Articleship period of 9 months.

The difference between IPCC and IPCC Direct entry scheme is those who registered for IPCC they only start their articleship after completion of 1st group of IPCC and ITT and Orientation. And Those who registered for IPCC direct entry scheme they can start their articleship before completion of IPCC 1st group but after completion of ITT and Orientation with out waiting for IPCC group completion to consume time.

So in your case to start your articleship completion of ITT & orientation is required but articleship completion of 9 months is not required to write exams. So you are elegible for November 2013 IPCC exams under direct entry scheme eventhough you completed your ITT in March or April and joined your articleship after that.
