Eligibility for deduction under income tax act

whether accidental insurance premium paid by an assessee is allowed as deduction u/s 80?if it is allowed, under which section and to what extent it is allowable?assessee is a government employee and the premium amount directly deduct from her salary.

per say, premium paid for accident insurance is not allowed as a deduction under 80c. however, if it forms part of life insurance or medical insurance it gets deduction.
