20 March 2014 I'm presently a CA Final student May 2015 attempt and also pursuing CS Professional and M.com. I'm keen on pursuing M.Sc economics or a similar course post CA. Please suggest what are the career opportunities after pursuing masters in economics and whether it is a good choice to go in this field.

20 March 2014 first of all, I believe you are still undergoing articleship. if this belief is right, you are not allowed to go for any other course till the time either you complete articleship or CS.

as such MSC in economics is a good choice to pursue a career in economics.

21 March 2014 But sir there are only 511 ies officer (*2011 data) in India. So is there a large career prospects in preparing for ies as compared to other civil service exams or other career options like going for MBA after CA or any other course. Kindly suggest some career options after pusuing CA.
