E- Filling urgent query !

24 June 2009 today when i open incometax site i found there a message which is a s follows :

Dear TaxPayers,

E-Filing for AY 2009-10 has been enabled for all ITR forms.

Please furnish the Form ITR-V to the Income-tax Department by mailing it to Income Tax Department , CPC, Post Bag No - 1, Electronic City Post Office, Bangalore - 560100, Karnatakawithin thirty days after the date of transmitting the data electronically. No Form ITR-V shall be received in any other office of the Income-tax Department or in any other manner.

i want to confirm if we are filling a return and ITR - V is generated as earlier we submitted that signed ITR - V to local income tax department ...

by this above message are we required to submit signed ITR - V to our local income tax department or we are required to send it at the said mail address

please clarify me about this message....

24 June 2009 Necessarily send to Bangalore. No need to give/send to the assessee's jurisdictional ITO's office.

25 June 2009 and how will we get the stamped ITR - V from banglore ?

25 June 2009 If you file the return electronically by signing digitally, you need not to submit any physically copy to income tax department.

In case you file the return electronically by uploading data without digital signature, you need to send the ITR-V by mailing it to Banglore Electronic City post (advised to send by registered post with acknowledgement). Acknowledgement is given electronically by email on your email ID provided in return. No physical acknowledgment is provided on ITR-V by way of any stamp.

In case you choose to file the return in paper form i.e. submitting the hard copy (not by way of e-filling), you can file the return with your local officer. And you will get acknowledgement on your acknowledgment copy by way of stamp.

03 July 2009 you should submit within 30 days after u r filing
u do one thing send a copy to bangalore also
