Please explain the procedure of verification of ITR thru Aadhar # and verification code on registered mobile.
Today I e-filed ITR 4S, but did not find any provision of verification code, nor did I get it on mobile. I had mentioned aadhaar # in ITR form. Instead ITR V was generated and I was asked to submit it by post to CPC Bangalore, like last year.
Is verification on line not yet made effective, while submtting ITR, like digitally signed one?

This Aadhar based electronic verification has not been launched by department yet. The return filers may mention their aadhar number and as of now since this process is not been made effective, usual sending of ITR-V to Bangalore will remain effective. You need not to worry.
