E-filing of income tax return of deceased by representative

My client's father had died recently in june. A Proprietorship
concern was being run in father's name. The concern has got its books
audited. Because of the latest amendment for filing of returns for
a.y. 2011-12 we had to apply for digital signature which we had done
in the client's name(SON) as he is the representative assessee. Now
the problem arises during E-filing of return. As father is an
individual assessee, when we try to upload digital signature of the
son, there is mismatch of PAN as pan of father (being an individual)
is already feeded and cant be changed , while in digital signature pan
is of the son. Due to this problem i m unable to upload his return.

son can get digital signature in name of father for one year, by signing as authorized person or legal heir.
