10 July 2010 As per Notification date 9 July Individual to which audit provisions apply is required to e-file return
What in case already submitted in Paper Form??
Whether Required again to e-file already submitted??

10 July 2010 The clauses (ii) & (iii) of Rule 12 sub rule 3 provides for the filing

(ii) Furnishing the return electronically under digital signature;
(iii) Transmitting the data in the return electronically and thereafter submitting the verification of the return in Form ITR-V;

In view of this, my opinion for your query is that it is better , if you update the data of your return electronically and then submit the verification of the return along with acknowledgment of the paper return already filed.
This is my view on the safer side.

Also, i think the notification came just yesterday, so i think lets wait for sometime for clarification from different Income tax Experts and specialist. I hope a clarification on such issue will come from government very soon. So lets wait for this...

11 July 2010 Rule 12 and Notification 49/2010 dated July 9,2010 is silent on the issue. The assessee can, therefore, seek shelter under section 292B of the Income tax Act,1961. In view of that and as per my understanding the return already filed is valid and no need to e-file again unless CBDT comes out with a specific direction through rules/ notifications.
