16 December 2013 What is the due date of filing TDS return in case due date of deduction is 15/04/2013 and tax actually deducted is 16/12/2013.

16 December 2013 There is no due date for deduction. Only date of deduction is sufficient to mention.

TDS return has to be filed on the basis of date of deduction. Due date for filing TDS return in 15-01-2014. Due date for tax deposition is 07-01-2014.

20 December 2013 ok. Sir one another doubt is if I have not filed TDS return for a particular quarter what is the time limit by which Assessing Officer can take action.
