We have to file ITR-4 for ay 15-16. Please let me know the due date for uploading this return. Someone has told me that 31st July 2015 has been extended upto 31st Aug 2015 for uploading the it return of ay 15-16. Is it correct ?

Yes Due date extended upto 31.08.2015.
Order under section 119 of the income tax for assessment year 2015-16 reg.
The CBDT in exercise of powers conferred under sec.119 of income tax act,1961, hereby the due date for filling returns in terms of clause(c) of explanation 2 to sub section (1) of section 139 of Income tax act 1961, for assesssment year 2015-16 from July 31,2015 to 31st August 2015 in respect of income tax assessess concerned. (order dated 10th June 2015)
