Dear Sir,
My friend's income from salary are Rs 12,50,213/-. He want to donate out of his income. he ask me how much amount he can do donate out of his income but that is not scrutinized by the dept. of income tax.

you can donate the whole of it...there is no issue with tax department on this issue.
