13 January 2012 Hi all . what are the documents required for registering a partnership firm for vat ? is gas bill is a compulsory document to prove the partners address ?

The documents required are generally,
1)Document to show that one has taken the premises to be registered at is taken on rent or own or leased etc.
2) for identifying the persons,election card,driving licence,PAN card etc,
3) proof of address, telephone bill,gas bill,LIC receipts,etc,
4)Bank A/c copy,
5)For partnership firm,the partnership deed,for other articles of association etc,
6) Photographs of all partners
7) some more documents such as liquor licence,distributorship licence,health licence,etc depending upon the type of business being started.
