Can anyone tell me pls whether dividend proposed and payed by a PVT LTD Co has to comply all the provisions mentioned in the Companies Act, 1956.
For eg: Transfer to Reverses, etc.

Dividend once declared it becomes liability and the provision must complied with.

Ya dats True , but what i am trying to tell is whether this Dividend Provisions is applicable to public co's only or public and pvt co's both...?

Yes applicable to both, but the recommendation of dividend is the option of the Board.
