Dividend in futures

Hey guys pls tell me whether a person is entitle to receive dividends declared and paid by the co if d person is holding futures of that company...? Acc to me he is not entitle bcoz no delivery of shares..

he is not entitled.
As he is not holding the shares rather entered into transaction based on shares.
