One of my client decided to dissolve his partnership firm, and he wants retain same Name and business activity same with sole Proprietorship. I want know how to apply in GST amendment. And Can we change Partnership into Proprietorship.

There is no option of changing the legal status of a taxpayer under GST. You have to obtain fresh registration as a proprietor and surrender GSTIN of the partnership firm. If there is any unutilized ITC in the partnership firm, it can be transferred to the proprietorship by filing GST ITC-02 form.
