Can a Director who is retiring by rotation at the AGM, vote for himself for his re-appointment in the capacity of a shareholder in case of show of hands or poll

Agree with the opinion of expert.
Though he is interested in the resolution at the General Meeting still he can vote for himself in the capacity of Director. However, in the board meeting a director cannot vote in a matter in which he is interested.
