19 September 2013 please tell can we pay remuneration of whole year to the director on 31st march(i.e. last day of financial year)?

19 September 2013 As per section 309 you can pay remuneration annually as determined by the company in accordance with the provision of section 198.

20 September 2013 After following provisions of Companies Act related to remuneration, you can definitely pay the same to your director.

also check related provisions of your articles in this regard.

Relevant sections are 198 and 309 read with schedule XIII of companies act.

However same provisions and restrictions are not applicable to a private company.
