25 October 2015 Do the directors need to mention their DIN & address while signing financial statement?

What are the adverse effect if directors mention only their names while signing the financial statement??

25 October 2015 NAME and DIN is mandatory . Non compliance attracts fine/penalty of Rs. 10,000.

25 October 2015 Dear friend,
While a Director furnish any return,information or particulars as are required to be furnished under this Act, he shall mention his DIN (Director's Identification Number)in such return, or particulars. This is as per Section 158 of companies Act, 2013.However,this Act is silent about putting the address of such Director with the DIN. It purely choice of signing director.

If DIN is not mentioned on the aforesaid document, then a penalty of Rs. 10,000/- is chargeable. In case of continuing offence,a sum of Rs.1000/- per day after the first day till the default continues, is chargeable from the defaulting Director and all such other officers in default of the company.
